Indo-MIM Ltd’s ₹461–485 price band IPO opens 23 July and closes 27 July 2026, with listing planned for 30 July on the NSE and BSE. Here’s what the company’s RHP discloses about the business behind the issue.
Business Overview
Founded in 1996, Indo-MIM is a precision-engineering manufacturer built around Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) technology — a process used to produce small, complex metal components for industries like automotive, aerospace, defence, medical devices and consumer electronics. The RHP describes a full manufacturing stack around this core process: product design support, tooling, precision machining, investment casting, ceramic injection moulding, additive manufacturing (3D metal printing), and finishing and surface treatment through to final assembly. As of 31 March 2026, Indo-MIM operated 15 manufacturing facilities across India, the US, the UK and Mexico, with 608 tool developments on record and more than 1,100 customers globally.
IPO Structure
The issue combines a fresh issue of ₹499.10 crore with an offer for sale of ₹3,311.21 crore — meaning most of the issue is existing shareholders selling down rather than new capital coming into the company.
Objects of the Issue
Proceeds from the fresh issue are earmarked for repayment or prepayment of the company’s outstanding borrowings, with the remainder going to general corporate purposes — a balance-sheet clean-up rather than funding new capacity.
Financial Snapshot
Total income has climbed steadily: ₹2,900.38 crore in FY24, ₹3,373.97 crore in FY25, and ₹4,320.70 crore in FY26. Profit after tax nearly doubled over the same period — ₹283.73 crore, ₹423.73 crore, then ₹533.54 crore. Net worth grew from ₹2,050.51 crore to ₹2,819.55 crore across the three years.
