Anand Rayons Limited, conceptualized by Mr. Gokul Bakshi, was established in 1987. Its primary business involves trading of yarn and value-added yarns like fancy yarns, nylon yarns, polyester filament yarns, and dope dyed yarns. During its inception, the company had a single dealer, Reliance Industries Limited, for polyester yarn trading in and around Surat, Gujarat.
Presently, the company has expanded its dealership network by collaborating with JCT Limited for Nylon Yarn, and Indorama Synthetics India Limited, Filatex India Limited, and Garden Silk Mills Limited for Polyester Yarn. The yarns traded by the company have diverse applications in saree weaving, yarn dyeing, carpets, elastic tapes, dress and shirting materials.
The company plans to widen its trading operations by extending its presence beyond Surat, into states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the R&D team is developing new products such as twisted yarn, Bi-Shrinkage yarn, and Sheath-Core yarn for GEO-textiles to enhance the business.
